You use these features inside Snapchat. They add options to your account without changing the app into a separate social network.

What friendship and Chat features does Snapchat Plus offer?
These features add information about your own Snapchat interactions. They should not be treated as access to someone else’s private conversations.
Pin someone as your number-one Best Friend
Best Friends Forever lets you privately pin one person as your number-one Best Friend. This makes a frequent contact easier to reach.
You can pin only one person at a time. Your choice is private, although mutual pinning between Plus subscribers can produce a shared Best Friend Emoji. Best Friends Forever
Friend Solar System
Friend Solar System uses planets to represent your position in another person’s Best Friends list. Open the relevant Friendship Profile and tap the badge to see your planet.

Extended Best Friends List
Extended Best Friends List shows your eight current Best Friends and eight upcoming Best Friends. It also shows movement since your last check.

Peek a Peek
Peek a Peek shows when a friend peeks into a shared individual or Group Chat. You may see an eyes emoji in the Chat feed or their Bitmoji inside the conversation.
There is a key limit: you must be looking at the relevant screen while the person peeks. It is not a complete history of every half-swipe. Peek a Peek
Friends in Chat
Friends in Chat shows when a friend is present in your conversation, directly from the Chat feed. If they are present but not typing, their Bitmoji appears holding a phone.
This is more specific than Snapchat’s green activity dot. It concerns your conversation, rather than general recent use of the app. Friends in Chat
Snapscore changes and Snapscore Multiplier
Snapscore changes lets you check how much a friend’s score increased since your previous check. Tap their Snapscore in the Friendship Profile to see the change. Snapscore changes
Snapscore Multiplier helps your score grow twice as fast through Snaps exchanged with other Snapchat+ subscribers. You must enable it because it is off by default. Snapscore Multiplier
A score increase does not reveal who someone messaged or what they sent.
What Story features does Snapchat Plus include?
Snapchat+ adds viewing information and more control over Story timing. Each feature answers a different question about your content.
Story Rewatch Indicator
The Story Rewatch Indicator counts how many friends rewatched your Story. It can appear on My Story, Private Stories, and Shared Stories.
It does not identify the specific people who rewatched. It also does not count every individual replay.
For example, three friends rewatching a Story is different from one friend watching it repeatedly. The indicator counts friends, not total repeat views. Story Rewatch Indicator
Story Timestamps and Story View Notifications
Story Timestamps show when friends viewed your Stories. The time appears beneath a viewer’s name when you open the viewer list. Story Timestamps
Story View Notifications alert you when selected friends first view a Story you posted. You choose the friends whose views should trigger notifications. Story View Notifications
These features concern Story views. They do not create a general record of profile visits.
Custom Story expiration
My Story Timer lets you choose how long a Snap stays on My Story. Available durations include one, six, twelve, or twenty-four hours, plus two days, three days, or one week.
This is useful when an update should disappear quickly or remain visible longer. Choose the duration when sending the Snap to My Story. My Story Timer
Story Boost
Story Boost helps give an eligible Friend or Private Story more visibility among friends for twenty-four hours. Snapchat includes one boost per week, and unused boosts expire.

Priority Story Replies
Priority Story Replies places your response higher in a creator’s Story Replies list where the feature applies. This can help your reply get noticed.

What extra Snap and Streak controls do you get?
These features change how you send, revisit, or maintain Snaps. Their timing and eligibility rules matter.
Replay Again and Replay Your Own Snaps
Replay Again lets you replay an eligible received Snap twice immediately after viewing it. Leaving the Chat screen can remove that opportunity.
This is not unlimited replay or permanent access to old Snaps. Replay Again

Lightning Snaps
Lightning Snaps adds photo-viewing durations shorter than one second. After taking a photo Snap, open the timer to see the extra options.
It changes how briefly the Snap appears. It should not be treated as a guarantee that the recipient cannot capture it. Lightning Snaps
Snap Modes
Snap Modes gives you more control over how eligible Snaps are opened and replayed. Snapchat currently documents two modes:
- One Time Only: The Snap can be viewed once, cannot be replayed, and cannot be saved in Chat.
- View It or Lose It: Choose an opening deadline from thirty seconds to sixty minutes. An unopened Snap becomes unavailable after that deadline.
A View It or Lose It Snap opened in time can behave like a normal Snap, including eligible saving options. Group saving can also affect who can view it afterward.
Snap Modes applies to individual and Group Chats, rather than Stories or Spotlight. Snapchat warns that incompatible devices or app versions may receive the content as a normal Snap. Snap Modes
Instant Streaks
Instant Streaks can start a one-day Streak after you exchange Snaps in eligible conversations. The setting can apply to some individual or Group Chats.
They are not guaranteed for every exchange or location. Snapchat also uses them for certain occasions, including new friendships and birthdays. Instant Streaks
Monthly Streak Restore
Snapchat+ includes one free in-app Streak Restore each subscription month. It applies to a recently expired Streak that is eligible for restoration.
Unused restores do not carry over. Additional restores in the same month require a separate purchase. Streak Restore
Post View Emoji
Post View Emoji adds your chosen emoji beside your name after friends view a Snap you sent. It gives your messages a personal finishing touch.

How can Snapchat Plus customize your account?
Snapchat+ lets you change how the app looks, sounds, and opens. These options are useful if you want different conversations and contacts to feel distinct.

Comic Bitmoji
Comic Bitmoji changes supported avatars to a comic-inspired style. It applies in places such as profiles, the Map, stickers, and reactions.

Bitmoji pets, cars, and 3D homes
Snapchat+ adds more choices for decorating your Bitmoji’s appearance on Snap Map. Some pets are subscriber-only, while other items may require separate purchases.
A subscription does not mean every pet or car is included at no extra cost. Bitmoji pets and cars
3D Homes lets you place and customize a building on Snap Map. Friends you share your location with can see that home even when you are elsewhere.

What AI features does Snapchat Plus offer?
Snapchat+ includes several tools for creating text, stickers, and backgrounds. Access to advanced AI Lenses depends on your plan.
AI captions and AI stickers
AI Captions generates caption ideas for your Snaps. On the preview screen, open the text tool and select the sparkle icon.

My AI bio
A custom My AI bio lets you influence the chatbot’s personality and conversation style. You can write a description or use a randomized one.

AI Snaps and advanced AI Lenses
AI Snaps can transform an existing Snap or help create a new image from a prompt. The creation flow may open another tool, such as Imagine Lens. AI Snaps
Check the plan requirement shown for the specific tool. Standard Snapchat+ should not be confused with access to every paid AI feature.

Does Snapchat Plus include more Memories storage?
Yes. Snapchat says standard Snapchat+ typically includes 250GB of Memories storage. Lens+ includes the same storage allowance, while Platinum includes 5TB.
Memories storage holds content saved to Snapchat Memories. It is not an automatic backup of everything in your phone’s camera roll. Memories storage guidance
This benefit can matter more than cosmetic features if you regularly save many Snaps and videos. Check your current usage and the storage shown with your plan before upgrading.
How are Snapchat+, Lens+, Platinum, and Family plans different?
The right plan depends on whether you want standard features, advanced AI tools, additional storage, or shared subscription access.

Not every plan is available in every region. Switching away from Family can remove subscription access for its other members.
Does Snapchat Plus remove ads?
Standard Snapchat+ should not be purchased as an ad-free subscription. Snapchat assigns removal of Sponsored Snaps and Story or Lens ads to Platinum.

Can you share or gift Snapchat Plus?
You can help friends access Snapchat+ through Buddy Passes, paid gifts, or a Family plan. These options work differently.
- Buddy Passes: Subscribers receive three passes per monthly renewal period. Each gives an eligible friend seven days of free Plus access.
- Paid gifts: Buy a three-, six-, or twelve-month gift for an eligible friend. A gift is a separate, one-time purchase.
- Family plan: Add up to two other people to an ongoing shared subscription.

How do you activate and manage Snapchat Plus?

Can Snapchat Plus show who viewed your profile?
Snapchat’s published Plus features do not describe a general profile-visitor list. Story views, Story timestamps, and Chat presence concern specific actions.
Do not interpret them as evidence that someone visited your profile.
Can Snapchat Plus show exactly who rewatched your Story?
No. Story Rewatch counts friends who rewatched, without identifying them. Story View Notifications and Timestamps are separate tools.
They do not turn the rewatch count into a named list.
Can people tell you have Snapchat Plus?
People can recognize the subscription if you display the Snapchat+ badge. Some visible paid features can also provide clues.

Do not assume an older feature list reflects current access. Snapchat’s individual guides now describe some related tools without stating a Plus requirement.
For example, Footsteps records your own explored locations privately. Streak Reminders alerts you when an active Streak is close to expiring.
Check whether these tools already appear in your account before treating them as reasons to subscribe.

What sneaky things can you do with Snapchat Plus?
Snapchat+ includes subtle activity tools, but they do not let subscribers secretly control another account. The most private-looking features concern peeking, Chat presence, friendship rankings, and Story activity.
Detect a half-swipe while it happens
Peek a Peek may show an eyes emoji when someone peeks into a conversation. The subscriber must be viewing the Chat feed or conversation during that moment.
See when a friend is present in Chat

Check changes in a friend’s Snapscore
A subscriber can tap a friend’s Snapscore to see its change since the previous check. The change does not reveal who received a Snap or what it contained.
View friendship-ranking clues
Friend Solar System represents the subscriber’s place in another person’s Best Friends ranking. It does not reveal that person’s complete friend list.
Get alerts for selected Story viewers
Story View Notifications can alert subscribers when selected friends first watch their Story. This concerns Story views, rather than profile visits.
These tools may feel sneaky because they provide extra signals. They still do not expose private Chats or create a complete activity history.
Can people with Snapchat+ see when you half swipe?
Yes, Snapchat+ subscribers may detect a half-swipe through the Peek a Peek feature. Snapchat calls this action peeking into a shared conversation.
An eyes emoji can appear beside the conversation in the Chat feed. If the subscriber is inside the Chat, your Bitmoji may appear near the screen’s edge.
However, the feature has an important limit. The subscriber must be looking at the Chat feed or shared conversation while the peek happens.
Peek a Peek does not provide a permanent log of every half-swipe. It also does not confirm that someone read the full message.

What is the point of the Snapchat+ membership?
The point of Snapchat+ is to give frequent users more control, personalization, and information. It adds optional benefits without replacing Snapchat’s main free features.
The membership is most useful for people who:
- Post Stories often and want more viewer information.
- Maintain Streaks and value a monthly restoration option.
- Want to customize the app, Chats, sounds, and Bitmoji.
- Save many Snaps in Memories.
- Care about Best Friends rankings and friendship features.
